What “recurring” actually means
Recurring means the visit is scheduled in advance and repeats automatically — you are not rebooking every time. You choose a cadence, we hold that slot, and the same cleaner returns on that rhythm. At My Pristine Home there is no long-term contract attached to it; recurring describes the schedule, not a commitment you are locked into.
The part that matters most is the same team every visit. A cleaner who has been in your home ten times knows which surfaces you care about, where things belong, and what to leave alone. That accumulated knowledge is the real product.
Recurring cleaning vs a one-time clean
They solve different problems:
- A one-time clean restores a home. It is a reset after a long gap, before an event, or at a move. Everything gets attention at once, and it takes longer.
- Recurring cleaning maintains a home. Each visit starts from an already-clean baseline, so time goes into actual cleaning rather than catching up.
This is why recurring visits get better over time. The first one does the most work; by the third or fourth, the team is spending its time on detail instead of backlog.
What is included in a recurring visit
A standard recurring visit covers the whole living space:
- Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, exterior of appliances, cabinet fronts, table.
- Bathrooms: toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, disinfected surfaces.
- Bedrooms and living areas: dusting all reachable surfaces, beds made, tidying, glass.
- Throughout: floors vacuumed and mopped, trash removed, high-touch points wiped.
Deeper tasks — inside the oven and refrigerator, grout, baseboards, light fixtures, interior windows — belong to a deep clean rather than a maintenance visit. See our full house cleaning checklist for the room-by-room breakdown.
How often should recurring cleaning happen?
For most occupied Utah homes, bi-weekly is the sweet spot. Weekly suits households with shedding pets, young children, or frequent guests. Monthly works for very tidy or part-time homes, though buildup starts to show by the fourth week. We go through this properly in how often to have your house professionally cleaned.
Why you start with a deep clean
Almost every recurring plan should begin with one deep clean. Maintenance cleaning is built to preserve a standard, not to establish it — so if the home has not been professionally cleaned recently, the first visits get consumed by catch-up work. One deep clean sets the baseline, and every recurring visit afterwards is faster and delivers more.
What does recurring cleaning cost?
Price depends on the size and condition of your home and how often we visit — more frequent schedules cost less per visit because there is less to do each time. The fastest way to get a real number is our instant quote calculator, which takes about a minute, or request a free quote and Jesse will respond personally.
